Mission Statement

The mission of the library media program at all levels is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished by:
*providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats;
*providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas;
*working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.

My name is Lea Hutt and I am the District Librarian for Jim Ned CISD. I also teach Dual Credit English at the high school. I previously taught at Wylie ISD for 8 years and Brownwood ISD for 1 year.  My husband is a teacher and a coach at JNHS and the voice of Jim Ned Sports Nation.  We have two children, Jaxon and Lawren, who attend Jim Ned.
