eBooks and Audiobooks

An ebook (short for electronic book) is a book that can be read on a computer or other digital reading device, such as a Kindle, smart-phone, iPad or ebook reader. It is the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book.  Audiobooks are ebooks with sound (the text is read aloud).

We currently have over 500 ebooks in the Lawn library, as well as approximately 11 audiobooks. These are all available for check-out by students and teachers.

If you plan to download a book to your mobile device, you must have the free Follett Destiny Read app, available from the App store or Google Play.

 2.  Login to Destiny Discover (above icon) using your 6-digit student number as both user name and password. Scroll down to the eBooks and Audiobooks ribbons, where you can browse titles.

 3.  Click on the title of your choice. Then you can read online or check out and download to your mobile device (with the free Follett Destiny Read app).

eBooks and audiobooks will be returned automatically at the end of the circulation period.

Download the Destiny Read app for all your devices here.

These books are read to the student, who can follow along with the highlighted text. They are available through the library catalog, or by clicking on the links below.  See your teacher or librarian for user name and password.
