Vending Machine Policy
The district has adopted policies and implemented procedures to comply with state and federal food service guidelines for restricting student access to vending machines. For more information regarding these policies and guidelines see the campus principal. See board policy CO, FFA.  

Tobacco Policy
The district and its staff strictly enforce prohibitions against the use of tobacco products by students and others on school property and at school sponsored and school related activities. See Student Code of Conduct and board policy FNCD, GKA. 

Physical Acitvity Policy
Jim Ned CISD requires a minimum of 135 minutes per week of moderate to vigorous physical activity for K-5 and 30 minutes per day for at least 4 semesters in grades 6-8.

Fitness Testing is done at least once a year. Parents may request in writing their child's physical fitness assessment results at the end of the school year.
