For A Healthy Year

  • Get at least 8 hours of sleep at night

  • Eat Breakfast

  • Take medicine before school if needed for colds and other aches/pains

  • Wear clothes/shoes appropriate for the weather

  • Carry backpack on both shoulders;don't carry more than 30% of your body weight

  • Wash hands before eating, after using the bathroom, and after coughing/blowing nose. If soap and water is unavailable use hand sanitizer

  • Exercise each day

Seniors:   If you are planning on attending a public or private institution of higher learning you are required by Texas law to receive a Bacterial Meningitis booster within 5 years of your initial dose.
