JNCISD has a board-approved
Internet Safety Policy which is included in annual letters home to students at the first of school. Parents are asked to read this policy, as well as the AUP, and then students and parents are asked to sign for their compliance with these policies. Both of these documents are continuously available from the Jim Ned district home page under Technology Department. Teachers are required to document coverage of the Internet Safety education each year in compliance with eRate mandates and CIPA (the Children's Internet Protection Act).
