Welcome!

I am Coach Lanny Prentice.  I will be teaching Math Models with Applications and Financial Mathematics this year.  I will also be the Head Girls Cross Country Coach and an Assistant Track & Field Coach.  I look forward to working with all JN students in all of my assignments.

I am a 1997 graduate of Jim Ned High School and 2003 graduate of Angelo State University.  I am in my 23rd year of teaching/coaching.  My experience includes teaching/coaching at Clyde (2003-2008), Big Lake Reagan County (2008-2011), Abilene High (2011-2020) and Jim Ned (2020 - present).

My wife, Dr. Amber Prentice, is an education professor at Hardin Simmons University.  Together we have 3 children.  Abby (JNHS class of 2020), Cassie (JNHS class of 2023) and Jaxson (class of 2031).  We enjoy camping, fishing, and spending time together.
