Welcome!

I am Coach Lanny Prentice.  I will be teaching 7th Grade Science this year.  I will also be the Head Girls Cross Country Coach and an Assistant Track & Field Coach this year.  I look forward to working with all JN students in all of my assignments.

I am a 1997 graduate of Jim Ned High School and 2003 graduate of Angelo State University.  I am in my 21st year of teaching/coaching.  My experience includes teaching/coaching at Clyde (2003-2008), Big Lake Reagan County (2008-2011) and Abilene High (2011-2020).

My wife, Amber, is an education professor at Hardin Simmons University.  Together we have 3 children.  Abby (class of 2020) attends Harding University.  Cassie (class of 2023) attends Hardin Simmons University. Jaxson (class of 2031) attends JNIS.  We enjoy camping, fishing, and spending time together.
