Individual Behavior:

Each child will have a necklace in my room that we will add "brag tags" to.  The tags can be earned by following class rules, class participation, and good citizenship.  Every Friday students will be allowed to wear their necklaces around school.  This will serve as a good visual for them as well.  If I feel your child needs to be on a more individualized behavior plan, we will conference about that and come up with something different.  I also have "Indian Think Sheets".  If your child breaks a rule, one of these will go home in your child's "Take Home Binder".  It must be filled out by both you and your child and returned to school the following day.

Class Behavior:

I have a big ticket jar in my room.  I give out tickets for good behavior, participation, good citizenship and knowledge of our area of content.  I also take away tickets for not following class rules, not being kind, and refusing to participate. 

Once we fill up our jar, each student gets to choose from a variety of prizes!
