School Counselor

I am extremely excited to join the Buffalo Gap family as the school counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. It is my passion to help foster student success in order for all students to recognize and maximize their abilities! As the school counselor, I find joy in serving students and their families. I am proud to be a part of an outstanding team that creates a safe, warm, and nurturing school environment for each and every student. I will be working with Buffalo Gap students through social/emotional guidance lessons during TRIBE time, individual and small group counseling. 

I attended Angelo State University and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. My husband, Luke, teaches and coaches at Jim Ned Middle School. My children, Elyn and Crew, also attend JNCISD.  My family moved here from Georgetown, Texas in 2016, and we are so glad that we did! We love this community!
