Welcome to Second Grade!  My name is Christen Brokaw and I am so excited to work with you and your student this year!  We are going to have an amazing year!  I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 and began my teaching career in Galveston, TX.   This will be my 15th year in education and my ninth year to teach 2nd grade!  I feel very blessed to be a Jim Ned Indian!    

My husband Jonathan and I have been married for 18 years.  We have two children Cora, who will be in 8th grade this year, and Charlie who will be in 5th grade.  We also have a Golden Retriever named Rosie!

I love teaching 2nd grade and cannot wait to begin the 2022-2023 school year!  Roll Tribe!
