My name is Eric Phelps.  I am the head boys basketball coach and teach 6th/8th grade science. I am beginning my 5th year at Jim Ned and my 16th year overall in teaching.

I grew up in Abilene, graduated from Abilene High and then Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's  of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science.  My coaching stops include Katy High School, Brownwood High School, Abilene High School and Clyde High School.

Stephanie is my beautiful wife who I have been married to for 15 years.  She is a Kindergarten teacher at Buffalo Gap Elementary.  We have two children, Harrison (11) who will be in the 5th grade and Haylee (9) who will be in the 3rd grade.

We are proud to be able to serve a wonderful community.  Jim Ned is a special place and we will continue to strive to make it the best place for your students!
