My name is Stephanie Johnson. This will be my first year here at Jim Ned. I am very excited to be part of "the TRIBE!" I am married and I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. They are all grown and either attending college, working or starting their own families. My husband is a firefighter with the Abilene Fire Department. We are proud grandparents to two precious girls. I have been teaching for 14 years as both a classroom teacher and a certified Librarian.
This year we will be focusing on American literature from our country's beginnings to the Modern period and analyze a variety of literary forms including novels, short stories, essays and poetry. We will be working on grammar and vocabulary skills lessons. We will also continue to develop writing skills with assignments of persuasive and narrative essays, journal writing, reading responses and a literary analysis research paper.
