Hello, I am Mindy Horne, my husband of 43 years is Kit Horne. Poppie and Nannie, to our granddaughters Avaleigh and Hadleigh, and soon to have in October Charles Oliver. He will be call Ollie. Our little Emerson went to Jesus arms 3 years ago. Kit, retired this past December. He highly recommends it. We have two children, Adam ,35 lives and works out of Abilene. Tova , 31 , lives in Winters, Texas with her husband Allan. We have lived in Taylor County since 1982. As a family we are strong supporters of our community and active members at Beltway Park Church. I have been with the school district since 1998. Before coming here I worked at Serenity House of Abilene for 6 years facilitating education programs. I was brought to this campus through a Reading Grant and the friendship of Melissa Gibbs. The program was developed with the collaboration of Mrs. Gibbs and Mrs. Chambliss and myself. Each year we strive to improve to find better ways to reach your students. I am D.I.P. (Dylexia Intervention Program) certified. Now know as Reading by Design. With over 20 plus years of service in education my goal has always been to reach the struggling reader with tender loving persistence and the newest and best material available. My compassion is to see your student get the best possible assistance to succeed at becoming a great reader.

Reading For All Learners is a reading program we use for Kindergarten-Second Grade, there is a interactive app kids love to use at home. It will cost to purchase each set. Just go to App Store.
