Welcome to sixth grade at Jim Ned Intermediate School! We are all looking forward to a wonderful 2023-2024 school year.
I was born and raised a Jim Ned Indian. Family roots run deep in the Jim Ned Valley and I am so very grateful that my kids and I are part of the past, present and future of Jim Ned. At the age of two I sat next to my dad as he coached seventh and eighth grade girl's basketball. That foundation eventually led to Jim Ned's first State Championship in 1994. I enjoyed setting records in track during my high school years, one still stands. Academics were extremely important to me as well. I was on the Jr. Chapter Conducting Parliamentary Procedure team that took second place at state, as well as many Academic UIL teams. I was also a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and graduated with honors.
After graduating from Jim Ned I attended Angelo State University where I received my teaching degree. Life has come full circle and I am beginning my nineteenth year in education after having stayed home with my two kids for six years.
